Vic Chou starts filming his latest movie

Hot on the heels of the box office success of Don’t Go Breaking My Heart 2, Vic Chou has recently started filming again for his new movie, tentatively titled Lady Detective. He would be working with Wang Luodan, the female lead of the said movie, who is also fresh from the success of her latest movie The Rise Of The Legend. This would be the first time that the two of them would be working together and it would be interesting to see how they would compliment each other in front of the silver screen.

Little is known about the plot of this new movie or what roles the two of them would be playing, but I guess it’s already a given who the lady detective is going to be. The movie is based upon a famous novel in China and it would be directed by the infamous director Oxide Pang, whose previous works have now been overshadowed by his recent affair with a starlet. The movie also includes veteran stars such as Hongkong actor Simon Yam and Taiwanese actress Tian Xin.

Here are some photos of the actual filming of the movie in Taipei, Taiwan.

There are no photos of Wang Luodan on this filming day as she was currently overseas in China promoting her new movie when the the paparazzis took those shots.

For those who have no idea what she looks like, she’s the typical pretty Chinese girl-next-door type with a very wholesome image and who seems to be adored by both men and boys alike.

I will definitely be keeping tabs on this latest movie and will be writing about it from time to time if there will be new updates.
